Morena rocked the stage of the Euroclub in Belgrade tonight, after she was invited by the Ukrainian hosts to be one of the guest performers.
Ukraine's contestant Ani Lorak kick-started the party by interpreting her song Shady Lady, and then opened the stage to a select few to promote their entry... Malta was one of them.
At the party, Morena was given a warm welome and several media organisations clamoured to get an interview and a comment from the 24-year-old Gozitan, while fans pushed their way through to get a photo and an autograph.
At midnight, Malta's ambassador to the Eurovision Song Contest wrapped her neck in a scarf - despite the warm air, she is taking no risks - and walked back to the hotel, located just 100 metres away.
In just a few hours she will be getting ready for her second official rehearsal at the Beogradska Arena, which will be followed by a press conference.
"I'm taking one day at a time and doing my best. The reactions boost your morale, but you can never lose sight of things," she told timesofmalta.com
