Drivers who are not familiar with some areas and who depend on the road signs for directions at night have difficulty in finding their way due to lack of street lighting. It is worse on rainy days.

For instance, the road linking Salina Chapel to the Telgħa t'Alla u Ommu that leads to the Mosta bypass is very dark at night and drivers tend to switch on their high beam, distracting other drivers whether ahead of them or on the opposite lane.

Would the authorities please consider installing more street lights? They are also required at some junctions and traffic islands or roundabouts.
