The Nationalist Party today complained of ‘manipulation’ which it said led to imbalance in the way two interviews were carried out on the PBS programme TVAM.

The interviews were with the Opposition leader, on Tuesday, and the Prime Minister, on Wednesday.

An analyses of the two interviews showed clear differences in the way the presenters treated the two leaders, the PN said.

It said that while the Prime Minister was allowed to speak and develop his replies, the Opposition leader was asked double the number of questions in the same amount of time, with a clear bias in the way the questions were made.

It was clear that the presenters were asking their questions in a way to promote the partisan politics of the Labour Party, the PN said.

The PN's complaint can be read in the pdf link below.
