Inter president Massimo Moratti has stuck the knife into former Nerazzurri striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic following his nightmare debut for fierce rivals Milan.

The towering Swede recently caused a stir by signing for Milan just a year after leaving Inter for Barcelona.

But his first appearance in the red and black of Milan quickly turned sour when he missed a penalty as the Rossoneri slumped to a 2-0 defeat at minnows Cesena.

And Moratti was all too pleased to express just what that would mean to Inter fans distraught at their former hero’s defection to their arch rivals.

“From a certain aspect it was the perfect day for Inter supporters, but not for me personally,” he told reporters.

“He (Ibrahimovic) hit the post, it’s not that he completely missed, but it didn’t go in,” he added with a smile.

Earlier that same day, Inter recorded their first win of the season with a 2-1 defeat of pointless Udinese.
