The Labour Party agrees with the setting up of services standards at the Emergency Department of Mater Dei Hospital, Karl Chircop, the Labour Party spokesman on health, said.

Dr Chircop said the MLP had for a long time been receiving reports of lengthy waiting times, as long as nine hours or more, by people calling at the Emergency Department.
