Oħloq Tbissima is a 60-hour live broadcasting marathon, organised by CAM Productions International, which aims to increase missionary awareness, while raising funds to support the various missionary projects in the care of the Missionary Society of St Paul (MSSP).

In Malta, funds collected go towards the holistic care of the boys residing at St Joseph Home in St Venera and also towards evangelisation through the media.

Abroad, the MSSP has mission work in Peru, the Philippines and Pakistan. Funds collected will support various projects including work being carried out in schools, an orphanage, a clinic, and the building of small houses for poor Peruvian families.

In Pakistan, funds will help continue the work carried out by MSSP priests in schools. Help comes in the form of a scholarship scheme, which this year will also be offered for tertiary education.

The MSSP also hope to open a laboratory for medical analysis. The marathon will be inaugurated by President George Abela and Mrs Abela, and Gozo Bishop Mario Grech on July 10.

As of July 1, the following telephone lines will be open for donations: €7 - 5004 9853; €14 - 5004 9855; €23 -5004 9850; SMS €4.66 - 5061 8099.
