The 25 contestants vying to be crowned Miss World Malta were presented to the press this lunchtime at Mona Liza Lounge in Valletta.
The winner will be crowned on Saturday at the Hilton Conference Centre.
She will go on to represent Malta at the Miss World finals in Indonesia in September, where she will compete against contestants from 120 countries.
Miss World Malta organisers, Modelle International, are promising a “spectacular” opening to Saturday’s event choreographed by Jes Sciberras.
The 25 contestants will be whittled down to 15 semi-finalists, and then seven finalists, until the judging panel choose an overall winner.
Other titles, including Miss World Malta Beauty with a Purpose (for charity work), will be awarded on Saturday.
