Education Minister Evarist Bartolo took to Lego bricks to convey a message to young pupils at a Question and Answer session.

The exercise was used to break the ice at the start of the session.

The pupils, from Malta and Gozo, were told how there are many possible combinations of 20 Lego bricks.

Despite having the same tools in hand, they can build a path for themselves which is different to the person next to them, but still the right one because it fits their identity.

"It doesn't matter if the structure falls off or is inadequate, one can always turn a new page, start again and improve things," the minister said.

The toy bricks were provided by 'Bricks 4 Kidz.'
