Atalanta 1 Catania 1

Bologna 2 Milan 2

Cagliari 0 Parma 0

Novara 1 Napoli 1

Udinese went top of Serie A with a 2-1 win over Chievo this afternoon.

Antonio Di Natale put the home team in front midway through the second half and Dusan Basta doubled their lead 10 minutes from time.

Alberto Paloschi pulled one back in the 83rd minute, but Francesco Guidolin's side held on to move a point ahead of Juventus, who have a game in hand, at the top of the table.

Champions AC Milan missed the chance to join them at the summit as they were held to a 2-2 draw at struggling Bologna.

Marco Di Vaio put the hosts in front in the 11th minute, but an equaliser from the evergreen Clarence Seedorf and a Zlatan Ibrahimovic penalty in the 71st minute looked to have turned the game around.

But Alessandro Diamanti levelled just two minutes later as Milan dropped valuable points.

Napoli, who qualified for the Champions League knock-out stage in midweek, needed an 84th-minute equaliser from Blerim Dzemaili to earn a 1-1 draw at relegation-threatened Novara.

Ivan Radovanovic had put the hosts in front 20 minutes from time.

Ten-man Catania held on for a 1-1 at Atalanta.

Nicola Legrottaglie put the visitors ahead in the 18th minute but defender Nicola Spolli picked up his second yellow card and was sent off before half-time.

And Atalanta substitute Simone Tiribocchi equalised in the 70th minute to make the most of the numerical advantage.

Elsewhere, Cagliari and Parma played out a dour goalless draw at the Stadio Sant' Elia.
