A group of 60 migrants was brought to Malta on board a patrol boat this morning after their dinghy was intercepted off Malta.

The group consists of 49 men and 11 women (and not a majority of women as originally thought)

The presence of the dinghy was reported late yesterday afternoon and the migrants this morning were transferred from their boat to an AFM patrol vessel.

The last arrival of migrants was a group of 20 found on a dinghy near Malta on Thursday.
