Michelle Muscat completed her second athletic challenge this afternoon by swimming from Marsascala to the Grand Harbour in aid of charity.

It took the Prime Minister's wife three hours to complete the charity swim with funds going towards the Marigold Foundation.

The swim started at 3pm, leaving from Xghajra, close to it-Torri ta’ Triq il-Wisgha, passing in front of Smart City, Fort Rinella, Fort Ricasoli on the way to the Grand Harbour.

She was accompanied by two boats upon her arrival where the prime minister and their two children were waiting. As they released balloons they gave her a warm welcome.

Last year, Ms Muscat also completed a swim from Gozo to Malta to raise funds for the Marigold Foundation and the Malta Special Olympics team.
