Michael Schumacher tested on a Ducati MotoGP in Valencia on Monday and came just five seconds off the time set by MotoGP winner Dani Pedrosa.

The seven times formula one champion rode Casey Stoner's bike but insisted afterwards he was doing this just for fun and would not try a new career in Moto GP.

Earlier his manager described as 'absurd' suggestions that Schumacher might partner Lewis Hamilton at McLaren next year.
