A huge auction of Michael Jackson memorabilia scheduled for next week has been cancelled and auctioneers agreed to return all the items to the singer. Auctioneer Darren Julien told Reuters the cancellation of the planned April 22-25 sale was the result of an agreement with Jackson, who had filed a lawsuit in March demanding the return of certain items.

Paul McCartney honors George Harrison in Hollywood

Former Beatle George Harrison received a posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, with a little help from such friends as Paul McCartney, Eric Idle and Tom Hanks. As about one thousand fans looked on, Harrison's star was unveiled outside the landmark Capitol Records tower by his Los Angeles-born widow Olivia and 30-year-old son Dhani.

Lindsay Lohan is looking for a lover who does not mind her alleged alcoholism or electronic monitoring bracelet, or so the famously troubled Hollywood actress said in a mock Internet dating profile. Lohan, whose recent breakup with Samantha Ronson has been covered by the media, stars in an a dating profile posted online on Monday at FunnyOrDie.com that parodies similar videos created for matchmaking company eHarmony.

Colbert lost in space when NASA names station node

NASA has named its new living quarters on the International Space Station "Tranquillity," denying television comedian Stephen Colbert his attempt to get the new Node 3 named after himself. Astronaut Sunita L. Williams, appearing on "The Colbert Report" on cable TV network Comedy Central, said NASA will name the new module Tranquility, instead of Colbert as he and his fans demanded after winning an online poll conducted by NASA.
