Malta International Airport has celebrated the World Cup with capoeira performers and Brazilian samba dancers in colourful traditional costumes who performed live in the check-in hall as travellers checked-in for their flights.

“The World Cup is a highly anticipated event, even for those who don’t consider themselves football crazy. We thought we could join in the fun and give those travellers a taste of the excitement,” said George Mallia, Head of Retail and Property at the Malta International Airport

Additional TV screens will be set up and food outlets will extend their opening hours.
