Following the season-opening Super Cup matches a fortnight ago, the MHA competitions continue tomorrow at the University Sports Complex with the start of the MHA Cup.

In the ladies' event, Aloysians will be doing their best to atone for their poor performance in the 8-3 loss to La Salle in the Super Cup.

Their opponents tomorrow are Kavallieri who will be making their first appearance in the new season. Kavallieri's clash with Aloysians is a useful test of their strength prior to the start of their league commitments.

In the men's MHA Cup, champions La Salle face Kavallieri once again following their meeting in the Super Cup which La Salle won convincingly 21-14.

Once again, La Salle start as favourites to win the tie although Kavallieri will surely be motivated to wipe out the mistakes they committed in their last outing.

The other match on the card features Aloysians and Salesians. The latter will welcome back in the fray Joseph Tanti, back in Malta following a ten-month handball scholarship in Denmark, and Renzo Kerr Cumbo who has joined them from La Salle.

Aloysians are pinning their hopes on their youth players.
