MEPs Simon Busuttil and Louis Grech will be the keynote speakers at a European Parliament Citizens' Forum in Valletta tomorrow.

Coinciding with the date when the Irish people will vote on the Treaty of Lisbon, the forum will deal with the mandate of the Maltese MEPs during the 2009-2014 legislature and how the newly-elected MEPs will be working in Malta's interest.

The forum, You Elected Them... And Now?, will give the public the opportunity to put questions to Dr Busuttil and Mr Grech, the heads of the Maltese EPP and Socialist delegations respectively.

Proceedings will be in Maltese and English, giving those present the opportunity to express themselves in both languages.

The event will be held at Europe House, 254, St Paul Street, Valletta, at 5.30 p.m. A light buffet dinner will be served afterwards.

Bookings can be made by calling the European Parliament Office in Malta on 2123 5075 or sending an e-mail to epvalletta@europarl.europa.eu.
