Mepa said today that following the government's announcement of a review of the fees payable on development applications, all planning applications which have not yet been validated, will, with immediate effect, have their processing temporarily suspended.
This process will resume as soon as the revised fees are published in the coming days.
Mepa will however continue with the processing and validation of any application should any applicant wish to validate such application prior to the publication of the revised fees.
The prime minister said yesterday that the fees will be reduced, easing the burdens on families and developers.
