The University's Institute of Health Care is offering a three-year B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing (Mental Health Nursing) course this October to train students to become professional psychiatric nurses to provide holistic care for persons with mental health problems.

Studies include communication skills, psychology, sociology, ethics, physiology, research, and methods for caring for patients of different ages, and persons with learning disabilities.

Applicants should have a Matriculation Certificate, including an A' level pass in Biology, and Sec level passes at Grade 5 or better in Maths, English and Maltese. Persons over 23 may apply under the maturity clause.
