Will Smith said life has never been better as he wowed fans at the premiere of Men In Black 3.

The Hollywood actor signed autographs and posed for pictures at the event in Leicester Square.

Smith, wearing a Tom Ford suit, said the film - which sees him reunited with Tommy Lee Jones - was the "most unique" he had ever been in.

He said: "There's something about the idea that is a little twisted and little off, you never say 'oh yeah that movie is just like Men In Black, there's really nothing that's just like Men In Black.

"So I enjoy being in something that I really believe will go down in the history of Hollywood, at least, as a really iconic film."

The film sees Smith's character travel back in time to the 1960s to prevent an alien assassinating his colleague - played in the flashback scenes by Josh Brolin.

But despite the time-travelling theme, Smith said he would not be tempted to try and re-write history.

He said: "I'm very happy with my life and my career right now. Things are better than they have ever been so I wouldn't try to go back and mess it all up".

The two-time Oscar nominee was joined at the premiere by co-stars Brolin, Alice Eve and Emma Thompson.

Brolin, who starred in No Country for Old Men, admitted he was "nervous" about playing the young version of Jones' character.
