Two men were this afternoon granted bail after they pleaded not guilty to a series of charges involving a third party this afternoon.

Carmel Grech, 62, of San Ġwann was charged with grievously injuring the victim and breaching the peace.

Vincent Sammut, 42, also of San Ġwann was charged with being an accomplice and holding the victim against his will.

Both were charged with threatening him.

Inspector Sandra Zammit prosecuted.
