During the Carnival holidays a group of students from St Nicholas College's Rabat Girls' Secondary, spent a memorable four days visiting Venice, Verona, Padova, Lake Garda, Madonna di Campiglio and Trento. The highlights were experiencing the Carnival in Venice and ascending the Predalago, Madonna di Campiglio, in cable-cars to admire the Brenta mountain chain of the Dolomites. The students were accompanied by assistant head Mario Vella and Italian teacher Antoinette Farrugia.
