Melita customers will be receiving more information about changes in their service and they will get a number of days within which to inform the company whether they would like to take up a new 15 Mbps package, the Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority said.

It said that customers who will not be taking up this option will still enjoy a free upgrade from five to seven Mbps.

The authority said it was to continue working to ensure that all operators in the sector would give the required importance to their legal obligations as established by law.
