In my view, the saga of threats and counter-threats and accusations relating to Medical Council affairs gets even stranger.

One wonders why this council (with a young person relatively new to its chair) decided to broadcast a serious verdict on a doctor several years after deliberations on the case opened and closed, and when its conclusion was supposed to have been time-barred.

These strange decisions do not exactly inspire confidence in the calibre and credibility of the council.
