Malta-based Medavia Aviation has resumed its flights to Tripoli.

The carrier was told to suspend its two daily flights between Mitiga National Airport and Luqa by the Maltese government in advance of last week’s EU migration summit.

The ban on Libya flights was reportedly the result of doubts over passenger and baggage screening at Mitiga, according to aviation sources.
