The Malta Dockers Union has withdrawn directives it gave Tug Malta sailors yesterday.

The union ordered the sailors not to work on tug boats if the crew was of less than four people.

The Malta Dockers Union said in a statement today it withdrew the action because the company withdrew its instructions that sailors on leave or sick leave would not be substituted.

The union said that the company had agreed to keep the crew at four people until a decision on the matter was taken by an industrial tribunal.
