McLaren have completed two days of private straight line testing at the Real Aeroclub de Menorca on a small island off Spain.
Test driver Gary Paffett drove the car on a series of aerodynamic tests ahead of this week’s group test at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona. The Real Aeroclub de Menorca has a 1.8km runway.
Ferrari are also understood to have conducted a private test last week at Vairano. The three day group test will be held between today and Wednesday but may be extended to Thursday since Tuesday is expected to be rainy.
