McDonald’s Plaza restaurant is closing down at the end of April, Premier Restaurants said.

They said in a statement the Plaza operation was being closed for the restaurant to consolidate its presence in the locality at its flagship store on the seafront.

The Plaza crew will now join Premier Restaurants’ nine other operations across Malta and Gozo.

Premier Restaurants is part of Premier Capital plc, the Maltese-owned developmental licencee for McDonald’s in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania and Malta.

Premier Capital plc currently incorporates 60 restaurants across the five territories and employs more than 3,000 people. Premier Capital plc is a subsidiary of Hili Ventures.
