An Open Day is being held today from 10 a.m. till 5 p.m. at Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (Mcast), Corradino Hill, Paola. It is being held together with the annual Hair and Beauty Marathon in aid of Children's homes, which ends at midnight.

The Open Day will include information desks regarding each Mcast institute, and enable people to visit Mcast facilities, as well as view a model of the new Mcast campus and student works and projects on display.

There will be a car wash service, while students from the Institute of Mechanical Engineering are offering to conduct car inspections. The Institute of Agribusiness is selling of honey, herbs and other products.

Demonstations will be given by martial arts experts, the Armed Forced of Malta and Police dogs.

Especially for children, there will be donkey rides, a play area, and a street soccer football tournament.

There will also be an exhibition of sculptures by Martin Bezzina Wettinger and a photos by Mario Pace.

Food and drink will be served throughout the day.
