Int Min Int? is the first TV programme to be researched, developed and produced entirely by Higher National Diploma media (Moving image) students at Mcast's Institute of Arts and Design.

The first episode of the current affairs programme, which features profiles of local and foreign artists and media practitioners, young artists, interviews and discussions about current events, and a showcase gallery of creative productions, was broadcast on January 21 on the educational channel, Education 22. It is produced by the institute's in-house media branch, Media Cast.

Earlier this year Mcast launched new media courses that teach students the academic and practical principles of producing professional media programmes. Students learn to develop fresh new ideas and seek to break through conventional TV broadcasting styles common on local channels. The HND diploma media courses aim to provide a new wave of professional film and TV content producers.

Int Min Int? gives students on these courses the opportunity to gain professional broadcast work experience. It also enables these young professional film and TV content producers and other local artists to express their opinions on TV programmes broadcast locally and what audiences expect.
