Mcast this evening denied that there had been any reductions in stipends paid to students, and said stipends had been made normally.
Reacting to reports in a statement of the press, the college said any reduction which some students may have had was due to circumstances such as absenteeism from lectures, adjustment of previous payments or adjustments due to the date when the students started their courses.
As in previous years, the stipends in October and November were paid in full in order not to delay the process, while December stipends were adjusted according to attendance.
Any students who needed explanation of their stipends could contact the college authorities in the new term, Mcast said.
