The Marsovin Summer Wine Festival kicked off at Hastings Gardens in Valletta yesterday to a roaring start.

Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino opened the festival which included entertainment by Tribali, food, drink and the late World Cup game on big screens.

The festival continues until Monday night.

Music stops at 11 p.m. due to limitations set by the authorities, but the wine bars and food stalls remain open until 1 a.m.
