Ghoseroy followed two balls later, scoring 41 runs. Once the opening batsmen were out the Marsa side started to keep the run rate down. Justin Brooke made eight runs, Anthony Roberts six runs, Malcolm Crabbe 14 runs and Colin Willis six runs.

Tony Slater was not out with 10 runs including his first six which went high over the square leg boundary. John Rusher was the other not out batsman making six runs including a four. For Marsa, Angelo Spiteri and Mike Caruana were the main wicket takers with two wickets each. Melita totaled 135 runs. Marsa recorded a similar run chase as the previous week.
