Pro Am Snooker are organising a snooker marathon at the Jesmond Sporting Club, Ħamrun, on Sunday to raise funds for the victims of the Haiti earthquake.

All snooker players, including leading names such as Alex Borg, Simon Zammit, Duncan Bezzina and Joe Grech, have been invited to take part in the marathon which will run from 9 a.m. till 8 p.m.

In a statement, Pro Am urged all snooker enthusiasts to pledge their support for the marathon by turning up at Jesmond Sporting Club and making a donation for this noble cause.

The money collected will be passed on to SOS Malta and Red Cross Malta to purchase aid for those hit by the Haiti earthquake.
