Charles Tabone has been appointed restaurant manager at the Temptasian Restaurant, the chic restaurant with a fusion of Asian cuisine, situated on the ninth floor of the 5 star hotel, The Palace. Mr Tabone has 21 years of experience behind him having worked in similar posts in the hospitality industry throughout his career.

Claire Zammit Xuereb, general manager, The Palace, spoke about the importance of this appointment. She said: "The instant success of this unique restaurant has meant that its popularity has grown deservedly in leaps and bounds in this first year since it opened.

This has necessitated the strengthening of the management team to ensure that the quality product and services The Palace is justly proud of, constantly advance to offer our guests a truly inimitable experience. Mr Tabone's appointment was made with this in mind and we are sure he will live up to our expectations."

The TemptAsian, at The Palace, is ideally situated within Sliema's urban core just off the popular promenade, towering above the surrounding towns. It offers a truly unique experience which includes extraordinary Asian fusion food together with an elegant ambiance and a spectacular 360° panorama of the picturesque towns, the impressive seascape and the capital city Valletta, beyond its vast terrace.

It has recently launched Destination Bali and Malaysia, as well as sushi take-outs and last but not least, the TemptAsian lounge - all new concepts added to the TemptAsian brand.
