A man was stabbed last night during what is thought to have been a domestic argument. His condition is serious but not critical.

Police said the 26-year-old man from Senglea was stabbed at a residence in St Simon Street, Fgura.

The man made his way to Mahatma Gandhi Street at around 5.15 p.m. before an ambulance was called which took him to hospital.

A woman has been arrested.
