A man has been admitted to hospital suffering from stab wounds. He is suffering from grievous injuries but is not in a critical condition.

The police said that the 26-year-old man from Senglea was stabbed in a private residence in St Simon Street, Fgura. Sources said that he was probably injured during a family dispute.

The man made his way to Mahatma Gandhi Street, Fgura, where he was found by the police.

Duty magistrate Doreen Clarke is holding an inquiry.
