A man suffered a slight gunshot wound following an argument in Burmarrad late on Tuesday, the police said. The argument was reportedly over money.

The argument, between three men, flared at about 11.30pm in Burmarrad Road.

At one time, one of the men produced a shotgun and fired at the other men, hitting and slightly injuring one of them. He then fled the scene.

The injured man is a 43-year-old, resident in Paola. He is receiving hospital treatment.
