A man who admitted to stealing from 'about 12 cars' at Malta International Airport and its environs has been ordered to do community work by the Magistrates Court.

Joseph Portelli, 51 of Birzebbuga, admitted to having carried out the thefts on or before December 7 last year.

The court, after considering his early guilty plea, sentenced him to 60 hours community work as directed by the Director of Probation Services and Parole.
