A 37-year-old man from Iklin was injured on Wednesday evening in a collision between two BMWs in Louis Wettinger Street, Mellieħa.

The police said the man was driving a BMW 640D which was involved in a crash with a BMW 120D driven by a 26-year-old woman from Swieqi.

The collision occurred at the junction of the Mellieħa bypass with the road going into Mellieħa. Both cars ended up in the roundabout with the force of impact. 

The woman was not injured.
