A man was injured in an argument near Maghtab this morning. His condition is not yet known.

The police said the argument took place in the whereabouts of ir-Ramla and Kappella ta' Sta Maria Street, limits of Naxxar.

The police are speaking to a suspect, believed to be in his early 20s.

The injured man was taken to hospital by ambulance.
