A man was seriously injured when his car overturned on a narrow road in Wardija this afternoon.

The police said the incident happened just after 1 pm at  It-Telgha ta' San Martin.

The 22-year-old man from Hamrun was driving a Honda Civic when it crashed into a wall and overturned. He was trapped and needed help from Civil Protection rescuers before he was taken to hospital.

Another 22 year-old-man, who was a passenger, was not injured.
