A 24-year-old man from Gudja was hospitalised after his Isuzu Gemini overturned after a bumper-to-bumper crash with a Fiat 600 driven by an 81-year-old man.

The accident occurred in Ħal Far Road, Ħal Far. The cars were going in the same direction.

The younger driver had to be taken out from his car by the Civil Protection Department. Luckily, he did not sustain life-threatening injuries.

The road was closed to traffic for a while after the accident.
