A man was hospitalised and another was arrested following a heated argument in Hamrun this afternoon.

The argument started at the Hazzard Pub in Qormi Road. Sources said one of the man was injured when he apparently smashed a glass door.

Broken glass could be seen littering the street, which was closed to traffic for some time.

Police investigations are under way.
