A 64-year-oldman suffered a stab wound and was grievously injured in a fight in Pieta' this evening.

Informed sources said the incident involved a fight between two men, both from Pieta', in K Mifsud Street at about 7 p.m.

The victim was initially in critical condition but his condition later was described as grievous but stable.

The other man, aged 54, has been arrested.
