A 38-year-old man from Xewkija lost his life this morning while working at his field in tal-Fessej, Xewkija.

The man was caught in a straw rolling machine at around 8.30 a.m.

Civil Protection Department personnel are on site assisting in the operation.

An inquiry is being held.
