A man who fell into a basement yard on Monday has died, the police said today.

The man, a construction worker, had fallen a height of just over one storey in a building at Triq it-Turisti, Bugibba.

The police also reported that the condition of a 74-year-old man injured in a car crash at Siggiewi on the same day has improved.
