A young foreign man died last night when he fell off the bridge in National Road, Blata l-Bajda onto the road which leads from Floriana to Msida.

The 26-year-old, from Ethiopia and resident at Marsa, was then also hit by a bus.

The incident happened at about midnight.  

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
