A young foreign man died on Sunday night when he fell off the bridge in National Road, Blata l-Bajda, and was then hit by a bus.

The 26-year-old was from Ethiopia and was a resident at Marsa. The incident happened at about midnight.

A magisterial inquiry is under way.
