A man is in critical condition following a traffic accident this morning in Zabbar.

The police said the man had been driving a Golf which crashed into a wall in Triq ic-Cawsli, Zabbar.

The man, 31 from Zabbar, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital and the police said they were informed this evening that he was found to be in danger of dying.

Magistrate M. Mallia is holding an inquiry.
