A 22-year-old man from Msida was this evening remanded in custody after he pleaded not guilty to being in possession of cannabis in amounts which denoted it was not for personal use.

Brian Sammut also pleaded not guily of being in possession of ecstasy and mephedrone, also in amounts which denoted they were not for personal use.

He was charged with committing the crimes within 100 metres of a school, club or a place normally visited by young people and of being a relapser.

Bail was not requested.

The drugs were found by the police at a residence in Msida yesterday.
